Boca Grande

The Boca Beacon worked with zNewsroom to develop its Boca Grande app which focuses on providing valuable information about Gasparilla Island and the surrounding area to both first-time visitors and residents alike.

The app features local news, island event calendars, where to eat, where to stay, where to shop and much more. The Boca Grande application covers it all – whether on island or just off-island. A special "Welcome" section is tailored for visitors and a "Webcams" page offers app users access to three different area web cams to see the beaches and surroundings in realtime. Links to the Boca Beacon and latest issue of the publisher's Gasparilla Magazine offers users access to breaking news and lifestyle editorial and a "Get Listed" link allows interested businesses to easily learn more about getting involved with the project.
